Laureston Place
Mrs. Fector, the wife of the much-esteemed banker was a Miss Laurie, of Laureston N.B. and the property belonged to Mr. Fector who gave it the name. In old books of Dover this land is called “Up-Market,” which modern critic suggest meant “Tup Market” or the place where “Tups” (young rams) were sold.
